Blessing Obasi Reveals How Her Husband Responded To Her Bigger Paycheck

According to Ireporter Online, Blessing Obasi disclosed during an interview on Morayo Afolabi’s YouTube show that the incident happened in 2017 when she was offered ₦600,000 for her role in the movie Castle and Castle.

The actress, who was dating Stan Nze at the time before they got married, said she was thrilled by the opportunity and immediately shared the news with him. She revealed that rather than feeling threatened by her higher earnings, Stan prayed for her and encouraged her to see the achievement as the beginning of greater things.

Blessing explained that her husband’s highest payment for a movie role at the time was about ₦100,000, meaning she was set to earn significantly more than him. However, she said Stan celebrated her success wholeheartedly and reminded her of her potential.

The actress noted that his reaction showed genuine support and confidence in her abilities, adding that his encouragement strengthened their relationship.

She recalled that after informing him about the ₦600,000 offer, Stan held her hands, prayed for her, and told her she was a star whose success was only beginning.
