Full List: UK Revises Immigration Rules, Identifies Countries Requiring Visas

The updated guidance, issued on July 10, 2026, introduces revised visa requirements affecting travellers from several regions, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.

Under the new regulations, nationals of the affected countries and territories must obtain a valid UK visa before travelling to the United Kingdom or transiting through British territory. The revised rules make it mandatory for eligible travellers to secure the appropriate visa in accordance with the UK’s immigration laws before commencing their journey.

The guidance further states that individuals covered by the updated list will not be allowed to enter or transit through the UK without meeting the required visa conditions.
