Big Brother Naija is set to return for its 11th edition with a bigger reward package, fresh surprises and increased stakes as organisers aim to deliver one of the most exciting seasons in the history of the reality show.

According to Ireporter Online, MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the new season of the popular reality TV programme will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with the grand prize raised to a record-breaking ₦160 million.

The latest reward package marks the highest prize value since the show began in 2006. The winner will receive ₦100 million in cash alongside a brand-new SUV, making it a significant increase from the previous season’s ₦150 million package, which included ₦80 million cash and a vehicle.

Speaking during the official unveiling, Atinuke Babatunde, MultiChoice Nigeria’s Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa, said Big Brother Naija has continued to grow by embracing authentic storytelling, engaging personalities and content that connects with millions of viewers across Africa.

Ahead of the season premiere, organisers held physical auditions between May 22 and 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. The auditions were open to Nigerians aged 21 and above who possessed valid identification documents.

The upcoming season follows the previous edition, where Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerged winner after defeating 28 other contestants to claim the grand prize.
