Moses Omo-Ikirodah (Modah) Campaign Organisation Warns Against Campaign Of Calumny And Blackmail By Hajiya Hadizat Abosede Umoru

The Moses Omo-Ikirodah (Modah) Campaign Organisation has cautioned Hajiya Hadizat Abosede Umoru against a campaign of calumny against its principal and House of Reps hopeful for Etsako Federal Constituency, Engr Moses Omo-Ikirodah.

“The attention of Modah Campaign Organisation has been drawn to an orchestrated and mischievous campaign of calumny against our principal in the person of Engr. Moses Omo-Ikirodah, House of Reps hopeful for Etsako Federal Constituency under our great party the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), by a fifth columnist, Hajiya Hadizat Abosede Umoru.

We have seen and been privy to some of these heinous plans in the past to defame and demarket our principal but we had chosen to overlook her. Ordinarily, we would have ignored her shenanigans trying to drag the hard-earned reputation of our principal through the mud, considering the fact that Moses is well educated, knowledgeable and an exposed business Mogul.

We are, however, constrained by the fact that this vexatious behaviour from her, if not challenged by well-meaning organisations, groups, and individuals, has the potential of causing disunity and planting the seed of discord in our great party, hence the need to set the facts straight with this publication.

Hajiya Hadizat Abosede Umoru who is known to our principal has decided to flag off her campaign with the sole aim of spreading falsehood against Moses Omo-Ikirodah all in an attempt to propel her aspiration to get the PDP’s ticket for Etsako Federal Constituency.

Hajiya Hadizat has been going around telling PDP members that Moses Omo-Ikirodah is an ally to former Kano State Governor, HE Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso who recently left our great party, PDP. According to her egregious statements, Moses was planted as a mole in the PDP to keep a check on the party by the former Kano State Governor.

She also goes about peddling the false and mischievous narrative that our principal is not a bonafide member of the PDP. Not done, Hajiya Hadizat alleges that former President Goodluck Jonathan is the sponsor/godfather to Moses Omo-Ikirodah.

For the benefit of doubt, Moses Omo-Ikirodah has been a foundation member of the PDP, the facts and records are there for everyone’s perusal.

Moses Omo-Ikirodah is a friend of HE Musa Kwankwaso just like our principal is a friend too to other well-meaning Nigerians across the Federation. HE Musa Kwankwaso has exercised his right to freedom of association and our principal can not deny him his inalienable rights, neither would he deny knowing his Excellency ex-President Goodluck Jonathan who happens to be one of the Great Leaders of our party.

We are however at a loss on how these two men relate to the battle for Etsako Federal Constituency.

We understand very well that the aspiration of Moses Omo-Ikirodah is a big obstacle to Hajiya Umoru’s dreams, however for anyone to think that the path for her to rise is to destroy another, destruction awaits such a person at the gate of success.

We advise her to put her qualifications before the people. She should come up with a well-articulated program and agenda for the good people of Etsako Federal Constituency or better still she can take a cue from our principal on the splendid way he presents himself to delegates, party members and the electorate.

Moses Omo-Ikirodah is more than eminently qualified to represent the good people of Etsako Federal Constituency. Politics is not played this way. Everyone who feels he or she is qualified to represent the people of Etsako Federal Constituency should take their case to the party Faithfuls and the electorate.

We, therefore, want to sound a note of warning that further unwarranted attacks on our principal would be matched with an equal and more devasting counterattack.

Civility is not a sign of weakness, those that live in glass houses should not throw stones. We have the required Arsenal to match her.

It is against this backdrop, that we call on the party elders, stakeholders and members as a matter of urgency to call Hajiya Hadizat Umoru to order. Her actions are capable of sowing the seeds of discord and causing disunity amongst party members.

We call on Hajiya Hadizat Abosede Umoru to desist forthwith from playing the hatchet job so that she does not bring opprobrium upon herself. A word is enough for the wise,”
