NIGERIA STUDENT EXPRESS – NSE PROGRAM 

WAS INITIALLY LAUNCHED BY IRCC AS A PILOT PROGRAM BACK ON JANUARY 2020 

AIMED AT NIGERIAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS THAT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO CANADIAN POST-SECONDARY  INSTUTIONS TO PURSUE THEIR BACHELORS, MASTERS, DOCTORATE OR POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMS OFFERED FROM ANY NUMBER OF DESIGNATED LEARNING INSTITUTIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.  

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES CAN NOW BENEFIT FROM EXPEDITED PROCESSING TIMES WHICH PREVIOUSLY EXCEEDED 10  WEEKS ARE NOW DOWN TO 30 DAYS THROUGH THE NSE. 

Prospective students now have the added feature of My Bank, a secure financial verification system to show they  have sufficient funds for their studies in Canada. Once the prospective applicant has the required documents, they  are free to apply online or with the assistance of a Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant.  

IRCC’s goal of attracting quality student talent to study in Canada in the hopes of possibly retaining them, should  they choose to transition to permanent residency at a later time is the end-goal, streamlining processes proactively will help IRCC accomplish their goals. 

PARENT GRANDPARENTS PROGRAM – PGP Super Visa 

On October 2022 Immigration Canada invited 23,100 potential sponsors to apply to sponsor their parents and  grandparents. If you were not one of the lucky Canadian families who received the highly coveted Invite please do  not worry, consider bringing your parents and grandparents on a PGP Super Visa instead. 

Immigration Canadas’ Super Visa Program allows parents or grandparents of permanent residents and Canadian citizens to visit Canada and stay long-term, up to 5 years per visit on a multi-entry visa with a validity of up to 10  years. This gives PGP obtainees flexibility to travel back and forth with ease. Once the applicant has purchased  health insurance coverage, and met standard visitor visa requirements the application can be submitted online or  with the assistance of a Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant from D2CIS Immigration Services Inc.
