2023 Elections: Moment Tinubu Received Certificate Of Return (VIDEO)

The video captures the moment Bola Tinubu received a certificate of return after he was declared winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Tinubu was declared the winner of the Saturday, February 25 election after receiving 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closest rival, PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, who received 6,984,520 votes.

Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, ran for president for the first time in a hotly contested race.

The former Lagos Governor received the most votes in 12 of Nigeria’s 36 states and received significant support in several others.

Abubakar who has now run for president six times, received 6,984,520 votes, while the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi, who galvanised young voters in an unprecedented manner in less than a year, received 6,101,533.
