2023 Elections: Tinubu Wins Wike’s LGA With Huge Votes

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won Saturday’s presidential election in Governor Nyesom Wike’s Obio Akpor Local Government Area with 80,239 votes.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party received 3,829 votes, while Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received 368 votes.

The result was announced shortly after suspended collation resumed on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
Professor Teddy Charles Adias, the State Collation Officer and Vice Chancellor of Federal University Otuoke, had suspended results collation due to an alleged threat to life.
