Adeboye Reveals How He Urged Govt Action Over Alleged Trump Plan To B*mb Nigeria

According to Ireporter Online, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has spoken about former United States President Donald Trump, describing him as a politician who is consistent in fulfilling his promises, a trait he personally admires.

Adeboye made the remarks while speaking at the US-Nigeria Faith Heroes Award Gala organised by the Save Nigeria Group in Washington on June 23. During his address, he reflected on concerns that arose around November last year over the possibility of the US carrying out military action against Nigeria.

He stated that he publicly called on the Nigerian government to respond swiftly at the time, stressing that his intervention was driven by concern for innocent lives that could be affected in any potential conflict scenario.

The cleric further noted that he has never met Trump personally but has observed him from afar, adding that while he does not agree with all of the former president’s approaches, he respects what he described as his directness and consistency in delivering on campaign promises.

According to him, Trump’s style of leadership and communication has been noticeable, particularly in how decisively he follows through on stated intentions.

The comments were made during his speech at the event hosted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, where he also reflected on past national and international concerns.
