Speed Darlington has opened up about his personal struggles, expressing disappointment over remaining unmarried and childless as he approaches the age of 60. According to Ireporter Online, the controversial Nigerian singer made the emotional revelation in a video shared online, where he admitted that despite his achievements, he feels something significant is still missing from his life.

The entertainer lamented that while he possesses American residency documents, they no longer bring him the satisfaction he desires. He explained that at this stage of his life, he had hoped to be enjoying the company of a wife and children rather than reflecting on what he described as an unfulfilled personal life.

In the emotional video, Speed Darlington said he wants more than immigration status or foreign documentation, stressing that his greatest aspirations now are to have a family, enjoy personal freedom, and earn respect.

His comments come shortly after he launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office. In a video posted on his Instagram page, the singer argued that another four years under the current administration would worsen the hardship facing Nigerians.

He criticised the government’s handling of the economy and security, pointing to rising inflation, increasing insecurity, and what he described as policy and structural failures. Speed Darlington questioned the President’s achievements since assuming office in 2023, insisting that the administration had not delivered enough to justify another term.
