ALGON, Arewa Youth Assembly Hail Governor Uzodimma’s New Role In APC Mobilisation

According to Ireporter Online, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has received widespread acclaim following his appointment as the Renewed Hope Ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The announcement was made as Uzodimma delivered the keynote lecture at the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) 18 in Abuja.

Leaders and groups from across Nigeria, including the Association of Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGON), Coalition of Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders of Nigeria (CENYLON), Arewa Youth Assembly, and prominent business figures, praised the decision, describing it as a well-considered recognition of the governor’s track record.

In a statement signed by CENYLON Chairman Mohammed Aminu Danlami, the coalition noted that the appointment underscores Uzodimma’s pivotal role in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his dedication to fostering collaboration, harmony, and equitable governance across the federation. The group pledged full support and cooperation, highlighting the mobilisation of youths as a key strategy in advancing Uzodimma’s mission.

Similarly, the Arewa Youth Assembly commended President Tinubu for selecting Uzodimma to lead APC’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections. In a letter signed by Speaker Mohammed Salihu, the group described the governor as a distinguished figure whose leadership of the Progressive Governors Forum has strengthened APC and improved policy coordination nationwide.

Dr. Ijeoma Linus Arodiogbu, National Vice Chairman of APC in the Southeast, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for the appointment, noting that the Southeast population welcomes Uzodimma’s selection due to his proven leadership and capacity for delivering results.

ALGON also lauded the appointment, describing it as placing “a square peg in a square hole,” and pledged unwavering support to ensure the governor’s success. Top business leaders, including Chief Tony Chukwu, Chief Charles Amadi, and Chief Alex Mbata, also congratulated Uzodimma and affirmed their commitment to supporting his initiatives.
