Bayo Onanuga Reacts To Fuel Price Hike

In response to the widespread anger caused by the increase in fuel prices, Bayo Onanuga, the Director of Media and Publicity of the defunct Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Organisation, has called on Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

In a tweet on his official handle, Onanuga acknowledged that everyone, including members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), is feeling the impact of the fuel subsidy removal.

He urged Nigerians, especially those who are critically criticizing the president, to refrain from such destructive behavior and wait for the palliatives that will help mitigate the effects of the subsidy removal.

Onanuga ruled out the possibility of reverting to the suspended fuel subsidy regime, labeling it as fraudulent.

He emphasized that the government has promised palliatives, and citizens should anticipate positive changes as more resources are allocated to states from the subsidy savings.

He further appealed to the people to be patient, as progress often comes with challenges, and assured them that the country, under Tinubu’s leadership, will excel.
