“Between Scripts And Family: How Bambam Draws The Line”

Nollywood actress and reality TV star, Bamike Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam, has shed light on her unique approach to acting. She explained that her goal is to deliver performances so convincing that audiences believe the on-screen characters are genuinely in relationships, even without intimate scenes such as kissing.

Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, hosted by her husband, Tope Adenibuyan, widely known as Teddy A, Bambam described this as her personal style of acting. According to her, she fully immerses herself in roles while on set but makes a clear distinction between her professional and personal life once filming ends.

The mother of two stressed that when the cameras stop rolling, she leaves the character behind, removes her costumes, and returns home to her family. “Even if there are no kissing scenes, you’d believe these people are dating. It’s just my style of acting. And when they say cut, I’ll take off my costumes, get into my car, and go home to my husband,” she said.

In a separate development, fellow Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has spoken about her stay in Canada, where she is currently carrying out omugwo duties for her daughter, Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, who recently welcomed a baby boy. In a video shared on Instagram, Iyabo revealed that while she cherishes the bonding moments with her grandson, Rakim, the experience has altered her daily routine and left her yearning to return to Nigeria once the omugwo period ends.
