Olisa Metuh, Tunde Rahman, Abike Dabiri, Others Appointed As Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Ambassadors

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), a political support group backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, has announced the appointment of 16 directors to oversee its various operational directorates.

The announcement was made by Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, who serves as the Director General and National Coordinator of the group. In a statement released in Abuja by Tunde Rahman, Director of Media and Publicity for the RHA, the appointments were described as part of efforts to strengthen the organisation’s structure and enhance operational efficiency as it expands its nationwide activities.

According to Ireporter Online, the statement dated April 17, 2026, revealed that former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, has been appointed as Director of Organisation and Mobilisation.

Other appointees include Mele Kolo Geidam as Director of Finance; Muiz Banire (SAN) as Director of Monitoring, Compliance and Legal; Bisoye Coker-Odusote as Director of Technology and Data; and Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar as Director of Support Groups. Ibrahim Garba was named Director of Intelligence, while Senator Sani Musa will oversee Special Duties. Hon. Simon Karu was appointed Director of Planning, and Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari takes charge of Welfare.

The list further includes Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri as Director of Administration; Bilikisu Muhammed Kaika as Director of Women Affairs; Abike Dabiri as Director of Diaspora; and Hadiza Bala Usman as Director of Research and Innovation, completing the 16 directorates.

The RHA is tasked with promoting and coordinating awareness of the achievements of the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group’s leadership structure also features Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani as Deputy Director General, Gombe State Governor Mohammed Inuwa as Secretary, and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as Deputy Secretary. Governor Uzodimma further disclosed that the organisation operates a nationwide framework comprising six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators, and 774 local government coordinators aimed at deepening grassroots mobilisation.

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu, during a meeting with the leadership and coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors on Thursday, April 16, affirmed his readiness to seek re-election in 2027.
