In a poignant letter, Abiodun described the passing of Oluwatuyi as an immense loss to both the state and the wider government community. He extended his deepest sympathy to Governor Aiyedatiwa, praying for the peaceful repose of Oluwatuyi’s soul.

“I am profoundly saddened by the news of Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi’s passing. He was a dedicated public servant, an outstanding professional, and a deeply ethical individual whose impact on Ondo State and its people was nothing short of remarkable,” Abiodun wrote.

He continued, “The shock of his death is still overwhelming. However, we take comfort in the belief that his life was deeply cherished by those who knew him, and we trust in God’s divine plan, even in this sorrowful time.”

Abiodun further praised Oluwatuyi as a brilliant administrator and a wise politician, recognizing his vital role in bridging the gap between political leaders and career civil servants. “His stabilizing influence in government will surely be missed,” he added.

In a similar vein, the Chairman of the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ade Adetimehin, referred to the passing of Oluwatuyi as “devastating,” describing it as a monumental loss for his family, friends, and the entire state.

Adetimehin recalled Oluwatuyi’s exemplary leadership as the SSG, emphasizing his commitment to fairness, equity, and the overall well-being of Ondo State. “His unwavering dedication to our state and his ability to unite diverse voices will always be remembered,” Adetimehin said.

Both leaders urged the people of Ondo State and the deceased’s family to find solace in the legacy Oluwatuyi leaves behind—a life of public service that will continue to inspire long into the future.
