Bovi Announces Benin, Lagos As Final Stops After Successful 2026 International Tour

Award-winning Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugboma is set to conclude his 2026 world tour with two major performances in Nigeria following a successful run of sold-out shows across the United Kingdom and Canada.

According to Ireporter Online, the comedian’s “Bovi: Guilty As Charged” tour will return to Nigeria in October, with the first home performance scheduled to take place in Benin City on October 1.

The tour will then culminate in Lagos on October 11, with the grand finale scheduled to hold at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel.

The Nigerian shows will mark the final leg of Bovi’s months-long international tour, giving local fans an opportunity to experience the comedy material that has attracted audiences abroad.

Bovi began the international leg of the tour in the United Kingdom during the Easter period, where he delivered a sold-out performance at Indigo at The O2.

He subsequently took the tour to Canada, where he performed in six cities, including Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton. All six Canadian shows were reportedly sold out.

The successful international run has further highlighted Bovi’s enduring appeal as one of Nigeria’s prominent stand-up comedians.

With nearly two decades in the entertainment industry, Bovi has built a reputation for comedy centred on relationships, society, popular culture and everyday experiences.

The Lagos finale will also introduce a new arrangement for his live shows, with ticket holders set to have designated seats across the venue.

For the first time, fans will reportedly be able to select their preferred seats when purchasing tickets, marking a departure from the previous seating arrangement at his shows.

The Benin City and Lagos performances will therefore serve as the homecoming leg of the “Guilty As Charged” tour, bringing Bovi’s successful 2026 international run to a close before a Nigerian audience.
