Boy Plans Own Kidnap, Demand N2million Ransom From Parents (PHOTOS)
A suspect Ade Segun has been arrested for planning his own kidnapped alongside two of his friends and demanded N2,000,000 from his parents in Warri, Delta State.
Delta State police spokesperson Bright Edafe in a tweet said the names of the suspect’s friends were given as Precious and Nonso.
Edafe disclosed that Precious and Nonso called Ade’s parent, and demanded the ransom to free their supposedly kidnapped son Segun.
The police explained that the parent reported at the police station in Warri, where a woman police played along, pretending to pay the ransom money.
When the undercover policemen got to the location, they laid ambush and Precious came to pick the money.
He was rounded up and arrested and took the police officers to the hideout where Ade and Nonso were arrested and confessed that it was all planned.
