BREAKING: Adamu Finally Breaks Silence Amid Reports Of ‘Resignation’
Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has finally spoken out after maintaining silence since news of his resignation emerged over the weekend.
As a founding member of the party, he had refrained from commenting on the matter.
However, when contacted by Daily Trust, Adamu stated that he would not address the issue until President Bola Tinubu returned from the African Union (AU) meeting in Nairobi, Kenya.
“I won’t discuss the issue because the president is away,” Adamu conveyed over the phone to the newspaper.
President Tinubu departed the country on Saturday, and his spokesperson, Dele Alake, released an itinerary indicating that the president would return to the country at the conclusion of the meeting.
The president’s arrival is anticipated at any moment.
