BREAKING: CBN Gives Fresh Directive To Banks (DETAILS)
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed Nigerian commercial banks to begin accepting old naira notes.
The maximum amount that banks can collect, however, is N500,000.

According to the CBN, the old currencies were no longer legal tender.
Osita Nwanisobi. Director, Corporate Communications stated that any money above N500,000 should be deposited in CBN branches.
