Breaking News: NiMet DG Call On Top Officials To Collaborate For Success
The Director General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Prof. Charles Anosike, has charged directors and senior management staff of the agency to collaborate to deliver value to the various stakeholders.
Anosike, who admitted that the agency was faced with structural challenges, said the challenges were surmountable with adequate cooperation amongst staff.
He spoke on Wednesday during the quarterly senior staff meeting of the agency which included Directors and General Managers.
He said: “I want to thank you all, especially the Directors, for being instrumental in settling in the new management. I want to appreciate every one of you for your support”.
“It is important for us to note that we have some structural challenges. Sometimes we misconstrue these structural challenges but they are not insurmountable. What we do will be dependent on how we work together, how we collaborate, how we care, and how we function for us to succeed”.
Prof. Anosike while acknowledging the contributions of the staff, urged them to make every day in public service count.
“I am not taking it for granted. I appreciate everyone who works here and contributes towards our success story”.
