Breaking: Nigerian Air Force Unveils Shortlist For 2025 DSSC Aptitude Test
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the shortlist of candidates eligible to participate in the forthcoming Zonal General Aptitude Test for the 2025 Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34 enlistment exercise.
According to Ireporter Online, the announcement was made in a statement issued on Tuesday, October 21, by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame. He stated that the nationwide aptitude test is scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at various designated centres across the country.
The statement directed all shortlisted applicants to visit the official recruitment portal via https://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng to confirm their names and assigned test centres. Candidates are expected to appear at the locations indicated against their names as published on the portal.
The DSSC programme serves as a recruitment avenue for qualified degree holders—both civilians and serving personnel—who aspire to be commissioned as officers in the Nigerian Air Force. Successful applicants will undergo an intensive military training programme lasting between six and nine months.
According to reports, the DSSC 34/2025 application process commenced in August, welcoming professionals from diverse disciplines such as engineering, medicine, information technology, and cybersecurity. The recruitment exercise reflects the Force’s renewed commitment to strengthening its technical and professional capacity to meet evolving security and defence challenges.
