BREAKING: Obi, LP Fail To Prove Allegations Of Non-compliance, Over-voting, Others – Tribunal

The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) has ruled that Peter Obi and the Labour Party (LP) were unable to present credible evidence to substantiate their claims.

These claims included allegations that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not substantially adhere to the Electoral Act during the election and that corrupt practices, such as over-voting, marred the poll.

In its judgment on the petition brought by Obi and the LP, the court determined that the petitioners had merely made unsubstantiated allegations without providing concrete evidence to support their claims.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, who was delivering the lead judgment, has so far resolved three of the four identified issues for determination against the petitioners.
