BREAKING: Powerful South-South PDP Chieftain, Driver Die In Auto Crash (PHOTO)

Chief Joe Unuame, a Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in Delta state’s Ughelli South Local Government Area, and his driver were killed in a car accident early Wednesday.

According to reliable sources, Chief Joe Unuame’s Toyota black Jeep collided with a tanker after Umeh junction along Ughelli/Patani road, while on his way to the PDP campaign in Patani.

According to sources, the driver died on the spot, while Chief Joe Unuame was rushed to a nearby hospital but died later after futile efforts by medical doctors to revive him.

Chief Joe Unuame is from the Akpere-Olomu community in the Olomu Kingdom of Delta State’s Ughelli South Local Government Area.

He was a PDP member until his death and a staunch supporter of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, the PDP’s governorship candidate in Delta state.
