President Bola Tinubu celebrated Senator Opeyemi Bamidele on his 60th birthday, commending the lawmaker for his unwavering dedication to progressive politics.

Tinubu described Bamidele as a trusted ally and confidant who rose to national prominence through steadfastness, loyalty, and commitment to progressive ideals.

The President also acknowledged Bamidele’s long history of promoting the welfare of the people, starting from his days as a Students’ Union leader, activist, legal practitioner, and now an outstanding politician.

The statement highlighted their longstanding association, with Bamidele having served as a legislative aide during Tinubu’s tenure as a Senator and later as a commissioner in Tinubu’s administration as the governor of Lagos State.
