Buba Galadima Drops Bombshell: Secret Plan To Remove Kano Emir and Trigger Emergency Rule
A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has raised the alarm over an alleged secret plan to destabilize Kano State by forcefully removing the Emir and declaring the royal seat vacant—all in a bid to pave the way for a state of emergency.…….READ MORE
Speaking on Jigsaw, a political program on AIT on Tuesday, Galadima claimed the plan is being carried out without President Bola Tinubu’s knowledge.
> “Tinubu didn’t know what happened. I can beat my chest that he was unaware of what was arranged,” Galadima said.
According to him, the goal is to entrap both the Emir of Kano and the Kano State government, creating chaos that would justify declaring emergency rule.
> “There was a grand design to set up the Kano government and the Emir, just to create room for emergency rule,” he added.
Galadima disclosed that a high-level meeting took place at the residence of a top government official in Abuja, where plans were finalized. He revealed that the individual intended to replace the current Emir was already sent to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
> “As I speak, the person they want as Emir is in Saudi Arabia,” he stated.
He explained that the plot involves inviting the current Emir to Abuja and detaining him, which would then trigger military action and lead to the throne being declared empty.
> “Their plan is simple: invite the Emir, detain him in Abuja, then move military into Kano and declare the seat vacant,” he alleged.
When pressed to name the individual being prepared for the throne, Galadima declined.
> “I won’t mention names. Go and find out which Kano prince is currently in Saudi Arabia. Everyone knows what’s going on,” he hinted.
These shocking revelations come after the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on Monday, canceled an earlier invitation sent to Emir Muhammadu Sanusi to appear at the Force Headquarters in Abuja. The invitation was reportedly linked to investigations into killings during the recent Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
