The order extends to five other individuals based in Port Harcourt, including Jinjiri Bala, Happy Benedict, Progress Joseph, Adokiye Oyagiri, and Chibuike Peter, alias Rambo.

Ehie Edison, formerly the factional Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, and the others face serious allegations, prompting the arrest order issued by Justice Emeka Nwite. The ruling comes in response to an ex-parte application presented by the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

The application was grounded in the provisions of sections 37, 113, 114, 84, and 184 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015, along with section 35 of the 1999 Constitution and section 32 of the Police Act 2020.
