As of Saturday, October 19, 2024, the exchange rate in the Lagos parallel market indicates that buyers are purchasing a dollar for N1700 and selling it for N1710, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).
It’s important to note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market. The CBN has instructed individuals wishing to engage in forex transactions to do so through their respective banks.
