Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest’s manager Nuno Espirito Santo has expressed his desire to keep Nigerian defender Ola Aina, despite interest from top clubs such as Manchester City and Galatasaray.

Aina’s stellar performances have drawn attention, and Nuno has emphasized the importance of squad stability as the January transfer window nears. “We aim to retain our players, although the transfer window is always unpredictable,” Nuno told Sky Sports.

Aina, 28, whose contract runs until the end of the 2024-2025 season, is now free to negotiate with non-English clubs.
