Telli Person was a hit song by Timaya featuring Olamide and Phyno Fino. It was a banger and a direct warning to those who do not listen to reason.

We are about five months away from the presidential elections, and the PDP, the largest opposition party, is in complete disarray, with five of its governors and a league of ex-governors expressing interest in abandoning the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubarkar.

In 2015, when the N PDP first appeared to challenge Goodluck Jonathan, who was the president at the time, over equity and fairness, Rotimi Amaechi, who also happened to be the governor of Rivers State, led the charge. In 2022, Nyesom Wike, another governor of Rivers State, is leading the charge.

Just like the way GEJ ignored Amaechi and saw him as a loner forgetting the forces behind him is same way Atiku is calling Wike a bluff forgetting the forces behind Wike. History has a way of repeating itself.

After Bode George, on behalf of a group of VIP PDP members, read the riot act to Atiku and the PDP and then withdrew from the Atiku Presidential Campaign, all the PDP could do was call off their threat, citing mundane reasons such as the constitution must be amended for Ayu to go.

For this street when you eye go clear dem no dey tell blind man say rain dey fall, bird no dey tell bird say stone dey come, What Atiku fails to recognize is that his opponent in this race is none other than  Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Asiwaju of the Universe.

Let me take you back to the days of Jonathan, when Tinubu was on vacation in London and the N-PDP, led by Amaechi, Saraki, and others, was touring the country reaching out to Generals IBB, Abdusalami, Obasanjo, and other great PDP leaders about their grievances against GEJ and the PDP.

Tinubu changed the game shortly after returning from the UK and meeting with the group, and as they say, the rest is history, as the alliance with Buhari ended the game. When the time is ripe dem no dey Telli Person.

Atiku and PDP NWC have dared five of its governors and they think they can win the coming presidential elections when the opponent is the Jagaban himself? Anyway, we’ve heard from the PDP Rivers State Chairman that he’d rather vote for a Muslim-Muslim ticket than Atiku.

That was a cryptic message from the PDP Rivers Chairman on where Wike is sailing towards.

We should settle back, grab our Guguru and Groundnut, and wait for the action movie since Wike, as we are all aware, said he would be speaking to Nigerians today. The battle is between VIP PDP and Atiku PDP.

Who blinks first? This was what Timaya said in the last verse closing the hit song similar way to how Wike is presently talking,” The life we dey we no fit play wayo , my people o , the way you lay your bed na so you go lie ontop.”

My name is Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah and it would never be a dull moment with Bush Radio.
