Today’s Sunday School lesson no be about grammar or praise-singing it is about stewardship and loyalty to your constituents.

You see some Nigerians get one problem, them dey no dey like appreciate genuine servants of the people, dem go dey say abeg no be him work , no b wetin dem vote am to come do? And these same toxic people have never one day called out those that are not performing. I call them HYPOCRITES.

So our lesson for this Sunday morning is APPRECIATION, what does the Bible say about appreciation?
Philippians 4: 8 says  Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

When we see good things let us dwell on it as it would attract more, it is called the law of attraction.

Hebrews 13: 17 says: “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you”

Yesterday the lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Dennis Idahosa met with some Enogies (Traditional Heads of Communities) in Ovia Federal Constituency to render an account of his stewardship. He disclosed to them that he has attracted 64 projects to his constituents since he was sworn in.

Oya now make we do the maths ourselves, make we know sef say we suppose they applaud the few public servants wey dey try. Do not be like the ungrateful ones that are filled with hate and spite.

Dennis Idahosa was inagurated to represent the good people of Ovia Federal Constituency on June 11, 2019, as a first-time lawmaker, this translates to 30 months and 8 days since he assumed office.

In 922 days this Youthful lawmaker has attracted 64 projects which include the construction of schools, skill acquisition centres, ultra-modern town halls, health care centres, electrification projects, construction of bridges, installation of solar street light, transformers, boreholes, youths empowerment, amongst others.

This practically translates to an average of two signature projects within a month.
If we break am further he show say na every two weeks Dennis dey run project for him people, these projects are all verifiable.

The lawmaker has tried excellently well, if every other public servant is up and doing like Dennis Idahosa we won’t even be bothering ourselves much about the presidency. Indeed Ovia is in Safe Hands.
