The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Aka Eze Aka, refutes claims of RUGA establishment in Uzo Uwani LGA, denouncing them as politically motivated distortions aimed at undermining the government’s efforts.

In a statement titled “Ranch is Not RUGA,” Mr. Aka emphasizes the government’s commitment to modernizing cattle rearing practices to curb criminal activities associated with herders while safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders.

Highlighting the government’s resolve to implement controlled ranching, the statement outlines plans to designate specific grazing areas, manage ranches, and establish modern abattoirs for meat processing and distribution.
