EPL: Gabriel’s Season Ended Due To Hamstring Injury

Arsenal have faced a significant blow ahead of their upcoming Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid, as Gabriel Magalhães has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury.

Arsenal’s official statement confirmed that Gabriel will undergo a surgical procedure on his hamstring and begin his recovery and rehabilitation immediately, with plans to return for the start of next season.

Gabriel, who has been a key figure in Arsenal’s defence in recent years, will miss the team’s Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid, with the first leg scheduled for Tuesday at the Emirates, followed by the return match the following week.

Despite having the best defensive record in the Premier League this season, conceding only 25 goals in 30 matches, Arsenal remain in second place, trailing Liverpool by 12 points with eight games left to play.
