Family Announces Burial Of Late Army Chief, Lt. Gen. Lagbaja, In Abuja On Friday

The family of the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, has confirmed that his burial will take place in Abuja on Friday. Moshood Lagbaja, the general’s elder brother, made the announcement during a condolence visit by the St. Charles Grammar...CONTINUE RAEDING…

School Osogbo Old Boys Association (SCOBA) in Osogbo, Osun State. While the military has yet to release the remains to the family, they have assured that Lt. Gen. Lagbaja will be given a dignified burial in Abuja.

During the visit, SCOBA presented a condolence letter to the family, signed by the Global President, Tade Adekunle, and General Secretary, Leye Odetoyinbo. The delegation, led by Engineer Adesina Salami, 1st Vice President of SCOBA, praised the late general’s exceptional service to the nation. Salami described him as an “exceptional individual, a proud Charlean, and a distinguished military leader.”

Salami also offered words of comfort to the grieving family, saying, “May God’s peace, love, and strength be with you in this difficult time. Lt. Gen. Lagbaja’s legacy will continue to inspire future generations.”
