However, the freedom fighter, through his spokesman, Olayomi Koiki, refuted the claims, describing them as false and misleading.

Koiki assured the public that Sunday Igboho is in good health and spending quality time with his family.

“The rumours about his death are a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image and disrupt the ongoing self-determination struggle,” Koiki stated.

The statement further read, “We want to reassure the general public and supporters of the Yoruba Nation movement that Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho is alive, well, and in high spirits.

“Our mission for the self-determination of the Yoruba people remains resolute and unwavering. We urge our supporters to remain vigilant and continue advocating for our collective goal.”
