‘Great loss’ – Lawan Reacts To Death Of Nnamani

Senator Ahmad Lawan, President of the Senate, has described the death of Mrs Jane Nnamani, wife of former Senate President Senator Ken Nnamani, as ‘devastating and a great loss to the family.’

Lawan expressed his condolences to Nnamani in a condolence message delivered on Monday in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Ola Awoniyi.

He asked God to comfort the former Senate President and her family in their bereavement and urged them to be comforted by her enduring legacy of good deeds.

Lawan also expressed his condolences to the government and people of Enugu State for the tragic incident and prayed for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace.

According to sources, she died in her early 60s following a minor surgery in Enugu.
