How Army Corporal Killed General In Lagos State

Officers and men at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, Lagos, were in mourning on Wednesday following the death of Brigadier General Audu James, the centre’s Director of Finance.

According to Channels Television, General James was killed when a corporal named Abayomi Edun, with whom he had previously had a good relationship, crushed him with a car while he was walking to his residence within the barracks.

According to a source, Corporal Edun was confirmed to have been under the influence of alcohol when he drove recklessly before colliding with the senior officer.

The high-ranking General was said to have been rushed to the hospital but died as a result of his injuries from the accident.
