How Gunmen Abducted Me – Anambra Native Doctor Speaks After Release (VIDEO)

Chukwudozie Nwangwu, a well-known native doctor in Anambra State, who was abducted by gunmen six days ago, has been released. Mr. Nwangwu, also known as “Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki,” was kidnapped from his Triple P Hotel during an attack by gunmen that resulted in the death of two of his security aides.

He was released on Saturday morning after reportedly paying an undisclosed amount of money as ransom.

The police spokesperson in Anambra State, Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed his release but stated that he has no information about the circumstances surrounding it. In a viral video,

Mr. Nwangwu narrated how he was attacked and kidnapped by the gunmen, who were armed with sophisticated weapons and seemed to be targeting the rich and powerful.

He also mentioned that the attackers might be part of a group agitating for a sovereign state of Biafra.

There are speculations that Mr. Nwangwu paid a ransom of about N300 million and an additional N50 million for his release, but this has not been verified.
