I’d Rather Stay Single Than Accept Less Than I Deserve – Diiadem Sparks Debate

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian businesswoman Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diiadem, has revealed that she is currently single and has no intention of settling for less than she deserves in a relationship.

The entrepreneur made the disclosure during a house tour session with content creator Jarvis, where she opened up about her personal life and shifting expectations when it comes to romantic relationships.

The 35-year-old stated that she believes many men are intimidated by successful women, adding that at this stage of her life, she expects a partner who is not only compatible but significantly meets or surpasses her standards.

“I am very single. I feel like most guys are scared of successful women. At this stage in my life, anyone who wants to be with me has to be ten times better,” she said.

Diiadem further explained that she is no longer interested in relationships where she is required to constantly nurture or build a partner alone. She emphasized that she now desires mutual support, emotional balance, and shared growth in any future relationship.

She noted that her ideal partner should be someone who contributes meaningfully to her life and ambitions, rather than someone she has to continuously invest in without equal effort in return.

“Cause I’m actually really done with dullards, people that I am trying to build. I want someone who would build me too. I don’t need someone I’m going to be pouring into, I want someone that will pour into me,” she said.

Reiterating her stance, Diiadem maintained that she would rather remain single than settle for what she described as the bare minimum in a relationship.

“So I would rather be single than settle for the bare minimum,” she added.
