INEC Speaks On ‘Postponing’ 2023 Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) promised on Saturday that it will not postpone the 2023 general elections because it is financially prepared.
Aminu Isah, INEC’s Head of Operations in Gombe State, gave this assurance during a meeting with youth-focused groups in the North-East region.

The INEC official disclosed that unlike in the past, the Commission had received the needed resources that would make the electoral processes smooth.
“INEC has gotten all its funds ahead of the elections. There will not be any possible postponement of 2023 elections, unlike the 2019,” Isah said.
Some diaspora separatists are urging people in the southeast region to boycott the upcoming election, while armed collaborators have carried out deadly attacks on innocent citizens and security personnel.
