JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results — Here’s How Candidates Can Check Their Scores

According to Ireporter Online, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who participated in the first batch of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement issued on Friday by the Board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, it was confirmed that the results are now accessible to candidates, although printing of the results has not yet been enabled.

The Board cautioned candidates against tampering with SMS notifications received from the official result-checking platforms, warning that any attempt to alter or manipulate scores in order to mislead others, including parents, constitutes a serious criminal offence and will be treated with strict consequences.

JAMB further disclosed that candidates can check their results by sending UTMERESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.

In a related development, the examination body revealed that two candidates and one parent have been taken into custody for allegedly engaging in result falsification using artificial intelligence and other electronic tools. It added that the suspects will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The Board reiterated its warning, stating that anyone found guilty of such misconduct will face the full weight of legal consequences, while noting that the examination process is still ongoing and results will continue to be released in batches as they become available.
