Joy Overflows As Iyabo Ojo Welcomes Daughter Priscilla, Juma Jux, And Grandson Rakeem Back To Nigeria

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo joyfully welcomed her daughter, Priscilla, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and their newborn son, Rakeem, back to Nigeria in a colourful celebration that captivated fans and well-wishers alike.

The vibrant homecoming, held in Lagos, was marked by traditional music, dancing, and drumming as family and friends gathered to celebrate baby Rakeem’s first visit to Nigeria. Videos shared by Iyabo Ojo on her Instagram page captured touching moments, including Priscilla’s emotional homecoming and Juma Jux proudly carrying their baby son.

Expressing her excitement, the actress captioned her post, “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk.” Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu, popularly known as Chioma GoodHair, also joined the festivities, commenting joyfully, “My prince is here.”

The family’s return comes after a grand 40-day naming ceremony and celebration held earlier this month in Tanzania, where Juma Jux had organised a lavish event to honour their son.

Priscilla, overwhelmed with gratitude, penned a heartfelt message to her mother and godmother, saying, “Rakeem is lucky. Thank you, Glamma and Godmother.”

Baby Rakeem was born in Canada on August 24, 2025, before his parents travelled to Tanzania for the earlier ceremony. The Lagos event marked another joyous milestone for the Ojo family, bringing together loved ones to celebrate the newest addition to their lineage.
