JUST IN: Former Nigerian Minister Is Dead (PHOTO)
Wantaregh Paul Unongo, the Second Republic’s Minister of Steel, has died.
Unongo, a wise man, died on Tuesday afternoon at the age of 87.
According to a family source in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, Unongo died at a hospital in Jos, Plateau State, where he was receiving treatment.

According to a family source, the ex-minister, who was the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, had recently been in and out of the hospital due to health issues.
The Tiv Traditional Council is expected to announce his death, according to a family source.
The late Unongo was born on September 26, 1935 in Turan, Kwande Local Government Area, Benue, to Kwaghngise-Anure-Abera ancestors.
