He stated that the state government is working hard to implement the Harmonized Retirement Age for teachers in both primary and secondary schools.
The permanent secretary explained that when the current administration took office in May 2019, a number of measures were implemented with the goal of generating and maintaining an authenticated clean nominal and payroll for both state and local government services.
Umar stated that the goal was to close all gaps in salary administration and free resources in order to employ more youths and carry out other development projects in the state.
He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to improving civil servants’ welfare and mitigating the effects of the current economic downturn.
Umar urged civil servants to return the government’s kindness by rededicating themselves to efficient service delivery.
