Mercy Aigbe Betrayed Me!’ – Actor Olaide Olabanji Spills Sh*cking Claims

According to reports, Nollywood actor and producer Olaide Olabanji has alleged that his colleague, Mercy Aigbe, repaid his support with ingratitude and hostility after he played a key role in her rise to fame.

In a recent interview with media personality Oyinmomo on YouTube, Olabanji claimed that he was instrumental in introducing Aigbe to the Nollywood industry, noting that he discovered her in 2004 and gave her the opportunity to act.

The filmmaker further stated that Aigbe’s attitude toward him changed drastically following her success, saying she even blocked him on social media. Olabanji also alleged that Aigbe harbors intense resentment toward him, going so far as to wish him dead.

He explained, “I brought Mercy Aigbe into the movie industry, she repaid me with wickedness. I saw her in a shop in 2004 and asked her if she could act. She said yes, and I put her on. But now she is blocking me. To her, it is as if I should no longer exist. Mercy Aigbe wishes I were dead. I used to thank God because I realised that once some women rise to prominence, they begin to act differently. I observed her closely and noticed that whenever she sees my picture, she always appears unhappy.”

At the time of reporting, Mercy Aigbe has yet to respond to Olabanji’s allegations.
