Davido Surprises Mayorkun With Tesla Cybertruck

Afrobeats superstar Davido has surprised his former Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee, Mayorkun, with a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck in a gesture that has sparked excitement among fans.

According to Ireporter Online, Davido announced the gift through his Instagram Story on Sunday, where he shared a photo of the luxury electric vehicle alongside a heartfelt message expressing his affection for the singer.

In the post, Davido wrote, “My gift to you. I love you iammayorkun,” before directing one of his associates to ensure the vehicle was delivered the following day.

Although the award-winning musician did not reveal the value of the vehicle, the Tesla Cybertruck is regarded as one of the world’s most talked-about electric vehicles, attracting global attention for its futuristic design and stainless-steel exterior.

Mayorkun, whose real name is Adewale Mayowa, joined Davido Music Worldwide in 2016, where he rose to prominence with several hit songs before leaving the label to pursue an independent career in 2021.

Despite parting ways professionally, both artistes have continued to maintain a cordial relationship, frequently celebrating and supporting each other’s achievements in public, with Davido’s latest gesture further highlighting the enduring bond between the two entertainers.
