Comrade, your life story is a shining example of grit, purpose, and patriotic leadership. From the factories to the chambers of national governance, you have walked a path carved by courage and commitment.

As President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), you etched your name into our nation’s history by leading with fearless advocacy for the rights of Nigerian workers. You were a voice for the voiceless, challenging oppressive policies and standing up to economic injustice with unmatched bravery.

As Governor of Edo State, you transformed governance into people-centered service. Your administration ushered in a new era of infrastructure development, educational reform, and transparent leadership that redefined the expectations of public office in Edo. You brought energy, vision, and action — and in doing so, restored pride to the people of the Heartbeat of the Nation.

Your leadership as National Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), demonstrated your strategic brilliance and unwavering dedication to democracy. Under your stewardship, the party witnessed landmark victories and a renewed sense of unity and discipline.

Today, as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, your voice continues to echo with purpose on the floor of the National Assembly — championing reforms, defending the downtrodden, and working tirelessly to build a stronger, fairer Nigeria.
