Minister of Regional Development, Abubakar Momoh, Felicitates Nigerians on the New Year, Calls for Unity and Collective Progress
The Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, has extended his New Year greetings to Nigerians, describing the new year as a season of renewed hope, collective responsibility, and accelerated national development.
In his message, the Minister noted that the new year presents an opportunity to deepen unity, strengthen regional integration, and advance people-centred development across the country. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Regional Development to promoting inclusive growth through strategic infrastructure, balanced regional planning, and initiatives designed to deliver tangible benefits to communities nationwide.
Engr. Momoh commended Nigerians for their resilience and perseverance, stating that sustainable national progress is anchored on shared sacrifice, cooperation, and trust in governance. He emphasized that the ministry will continue to work in line with the Federal Government’s development priorities to ensure that no region is left behind.
The Minister expressed optimism that the year ahead will usher in improved livelihoods, strengthened social cohesion, and visible development outcomes across Nigeria’s regions.
