National Association Of Political Parties Calls For Support For Hon Miriam Onuoha As Speaker Of The House

The National association of political parties in Nigeria has called on the ruling party, the all progressive Congress to support the only female candidate contesting the 10th Assembly speaker to emerged.

The call was made in Abuja during a press briefing on the side line of pre Inuguration hangout going on at the unity fountain in Abuja.

The Leader of the association Hon Hassan Malik called all members elect of the 9th Assembly to queue behind Hon Miriam Onuoha to succeed as the speaker of the house representative.

Malik said Hon Miriam speakersbip would proof to Nigeria that the APC is gender sensitive and that Asiwaju would fulfill his electoral  and campaign promised made especially to the women 

He said Hon Miriam has the capacity, she is competence and she is a ranking member of the house and a mother who knows the pain of the Nation.  Hon Miriam is an Alumnus of university of Lagos

As for her loyalty and contribution to the APC, Hon Miriam and  the party leader, his excellence Governor Hope Uzodimma produced the highest votes for the APC from the southeast zone.

We are calling on all the leaders of the APC especially the president elect to help prevail on members to enable him keep his campaign promises to women inclusiveness in his administration.

The Association which draw it members from body of all registered political parties in Nigeria has promised to be releasing.

Rt Hon Miriam Onuoha is a returning member representing Okigwe North/ Onuimo/Isiala Mbano Federal Constituency of Imo State
