NEDC Flags Off Construction Of Garkida-Dabna Road In Adamawa

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has broken ground on a 32-kilometer Garkida-Dabna road in Adamawa State, worth N6.3 billion. The Chief Executive Officer.

Other projects mentioned by the MD include the 53-kilometer Gombe Abba-Kirfi road in Bauchi State, which will cost N11.697 billion, and the 54-kilometer Mutai-Ngalda road in Yobe, which will cost N12.99 billion.

The NEDC also inaugurated a police station and its quarters, which were destroyed by Boko Haram insurgents, while also overseeing a 2.5-kilometer road project at the College of Education, Hong.

“The project would be handled by TRIACTA Nigeria Ltd with a completion period of 12 months,” he said.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented by his deputy Crowther Seth, praised the NEDC initiative, saying it will improve regional security and urging more collaborations.
