New Era For NURTW: MC Oluomo Pledges Unity As National President

Zonal Secretariat in Osogbo, Osun State, with delegates from Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti states participating.
The conference was overseen by Acting National President Aliyu Issa-Ore, who noted that the union’s constitution requires the responsible zone to elect and present its candidate to the National Secretariat. Representing the National Headquarters in Abuja, Mrs. Adedamola Salam, Head of Finance, confirmed that the Southwest Zone adhered to all constitutional guidelines in electing MC Oluomo as President.
During the event, Tajudeen Agbede was elected as Vice President for the Southwest, and Akeem Adeosun was appointed trustee for the zone.
In his acceptance speech, MC Oluomo called for unity and peace within the union, stressing his commitment to maintaining harmony. He expressed forgiveness for past grievances and urged all members to prioritize the union’s welfare, stating, “This is our union, and we must safeguard it. We won’t allow anyone to jeopardize our livelihood.”
