concerns about a person named ‘Professor Adebayo Oluwatokun’ and a group called ‘Value Gain’ allegedly operating under the guise of the exchange.
The statement highlighted that the impersonators are using a WhatsApp group named ‘NGX GroupA7’ to deceive the public. NGX clarified that neither ‘Value Gain’ nor ‘Professor Adebayo Oluwatokun’ has any connection to the Nigerian Exchange Group or its registered Trading License Holders. Any claims made by these individuals or their associates should be regarded as fraudulent.
NGX emphasized its commitment to maintaining transparency, integrity, and safeguarding investors in the Nigerian capital market. It urged the public to avoid interacting with the fraudulent individuals and to report any such activities to NGX and law enforcement agencies promptly.
